Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDOROTHY ELIZABETH KNIGHT (nee MARTIN) Dorothy Elizabeth Knight (nee Martin) died peacefully, with her family by her side, at Stevenson Memorial Hospital on Thursday, July 12, 2007. Dorothy is survived by her loving son Charlie and his wife Barbara of Beeton; her brother Norman of Toronto and brothers and sisters in Western Canada. Dorothy was proud to have served in the R.C.A.F. during the Second World War and subsequently with the Canadian Reserve Army. After graduating in the first class of CNA's at the Hamilton Sanatorium in 1947, her life was dedicated to helping others. In her later years, Dorothy was the leading force in organizing life saving assistance to feral cats and any other creature that crossed her path. Rest well and say Hi to Dad. At Dorothy's request, there will be no funeral services. A quiet ceremony will be held later for family and close friends in Dundas, Ontario where she will lie in rest with her husband, Doug.
